Days 13-15: Writing thoughts, work, computer troubles

I knew that it was going to be difficult for me to maintain this daily creativity effort, but I didn't expect that I was going to start floundering so quickly. In general, I'm not known for repeating anything - this is both a good and a bad thing. So I thought by choosing the general category "creativity" I would give myself the same kind of latitude that led to my majoring in theater: I can do a different thing all the time and still complete the overarching task at hand. But then there's traveling. And work. And computer crashes that take up mental and physical time. But my brain does continue to work in the background and I have to remember that I didn't give myself the task of completing something creative every day, just doing something creative every day. This is particularly key since I tend to prefer large and/or elaborate projects which take far longer than the 1-2 hours I can squeeze in on a good day for such an endeavor. So what have I been doing these 3 days? Truth be told, I've been thinking about an entirely new project. It's a film which combines found footage and narrative script. I've also been thinking about ways to complete the 2 screenplays I already have in the works. I want to focus this summer on completing some projects that have been rattling around in my head for a while and am moving those to the top of the pile (Darwin & Jeremy: take note!).So I can't really explain it to you yet. That will come after a few more days.
