New Mammal Species?

Fascinating today to learn about a tree hyrax found in the Taita Hills of Kenya.

Looks like a guinea pig, but a distant relative of elephants.

Lives in the trees and has a call that sounds like a bird, but is a mammal.

Can emit a seriously loud scream - over one hundred decibels!

Exists no where else.

We may think we know everything, that everything has been done, but we would be wrong.
